After much internal debate, proofing, and mostly unwarranted anxiety, the cover design for my book is complete! This was the last major hurdle to overcome before publication, and now I have all the files sitting there, staring at me. Whispering. No excuses left.

I had one %$*# of a time setting the newsletter subscription up. I’m very glad that I’m tech savvy or it might not have happened. I spent all morning troubleshooting an issue where a subscriber wouldn’t receive their confirmation email. What fixed it? When was it fixed? I don’t know! Turns out that the service I’m using (ConvertKit) won’t send another confirmation email to the same user for 12 hours, so my test email wasn’t getting a confirmation because of that, not necessarily because it was still broken. I’m not sure what caused the first failure, but I think it was because I didn’t originally have a specific domain email address. C’est la vie.
